Application Form
We actively welcome like-minded new members to join in strengthening ERA. Executive Recruitment consultants work only on behalf of organizations on a retained or contingency basis and never on behalf of individuals seeking employment. Hence, an ERA member never charges a candidate for any service.
To join ERA, a prospective member needs to take the following steps:

Kindly go through the ERA homepage www.era.org.in specially the sections on the Code of Ethics & Professional Practice Guidelines.

Send an email to the Associate Director-ERA, Mr Pramod Thilakan at
indicating your interest in becoming an ERA member, together with the details duly filled in, per the "Application form" .

Send the application form for ERA membership duly printed on your letterhead and signed by the chief executive of the organisation together with the requested cheque. 3.1. Confirming to abide with ERA's Code of Ethics & Professional Practice Guidelines and that you never charge a candidate for any service.
3.2. Background Information, including the Company profile, which should be considered by the committee for evaluating your membership application.
3.3. Draft / Cheque payable at Mumbai, in favour of "Executive Recruiters Association" as per the fee details below & couriered to the address of the Executive Director, referred to in para - 3 above.

* A one - time non-refundable admission fee of Rs.5, 000/- is payable by every new member, in addition to the membership fee, at the time of admission.
* Members Less than 3 years in business and/or annual revenue less than 50% from recruitment consultancy will be considered an Associate member.

Associate Member - All applicants for membership will be considered for admission only as an Associate member, where the applicant has been conducting business in executive recruitment for less than 3 years or where Executive recruitment is not the main activity or the annual revenue from recruitment consultancy is less than 50% of the total revenue of the firm. The Executive Council may consider upgrading an Associate member to a Member grade, after at least 12 months as an Associate member.
- On receipt of the above, the ERA ED will forward the application to the respective chapter convenor, who may request for more details and / or a personal meeting.

The Chapter Convenor will forward your application to the Executive Director with his recommendation about admission / refusal as Voting or Associate member.

If recommended for admission, the Executive Director will circulate your application for membership for approval by the Executive Council. According to the rules for admission of a member, a 7 days notice will be given during which period Executive Council Members would be requested to inform the ED, if any one has any objection to admit them as a member of the ERA.The Council through the ED may call upon the applicant to furnish such additional information relating to his eligibility as may be considered necessary. The Council in its absolute discretion may admit members and shall be empowered to reject any application for admission without assigning any reasons.

ERA Executive Director will revert to you with the decision of the Chapter Convenor / Executive Council. The fees paid will be fully refunded, in case the application for membership is rejected.
